Mr. Clark has significant experience in guiding clients through varied land-use approvals, from small subdivisions to large planned-unit developments and conditional use permits for various commercial operators. Mr. Clark’s real-estate practice includes drafting and negotiation of purchase and sale agreements, residential and commercial leases, easements, restrictive covenants, and homeowners’ association documents. Mr. Clark also has an active litigation practice, supporting clients in a variety of litigation settings, including petitions for judicial review, administrative hearings, and matters before all Idaho courts.
Mr. Clark received his undergraduate degree in Political Science (International Relations) from Duke University. He graduated from Washington University School of Law in 2005, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Washington University Global Studies Law Review (2004-2005).
Prior to joining Spink Butler, LLP in 2006, Mr. Clark served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Darla Williamson (Administrative District Judge, Fourth District, State of Idaho) from 2005-2006. Mr. Clark is currently a member of the Editorial Advisory Board for the Idaho State Bar’s monthly periodical, The Advocate, and is a member of the committee reviewing the real property forms published by the Idaho State Bar’s Real Property Section.
